Poor Handmaids Bless the hands of Marian University Plymouth Nursing Students

Nursing Student Blessing

On Tuesday, several Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Sisters blessed the hands of six Marian University Plymouth nursing students in the Ancilla Domini Chapel. The Sisters, many of whom are nurses themselves, anointed the students’ hands with blessed oil. This touching ceremony featured a beautiful nurse’s prayer along with a reflection on the healing that nurses provide.

The Sisters wished each student well as they begin the school year, offering them encouragement and prayers as they continue their education journeys. Everyone gathered in the Chapel vestibule to chat and enjoy some delicious ice cream sandwiches!

The entire PHJC community would like to extend a warm congratulations to these nursing students! We wish you all the best!
