Take a look at the beautiful 175th Anniversary Proclamation display that’s set up in the Motherhouse’s Cenacle Dining Room!
It features several official documents, including one from the City of Mishawaka that designates June 13th as “Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Day,” as well as letters of congratulations from Mayor of Plymouth Robert Listenberger and Indiana’s Second Congressional District Representative Rudy Yakum. The Sisters of the Holy Cross and the Dominican Sisters also sent beautiful and heartfelt cards containing their warmest regards. The display also includes a signed letter from Pope Leo XIV himself, in which the Holy Father commends the Poor Handmaids on their anniversary and offers them his Apostolic Blessing.
If you find yourself at the Motherhouse, please be sure to view this lovely display and read these messages of goodwill for yourself!
