On Thursday, October 1st, Poor Handmaids Sisters, coworkers, associates and Maria Center residents gathered in Cana Hall to celebrate the 2026 Annual Coworker Awards. This year’s theme was “You Lift Us Up!” and the tables were decorated with handmade model hot air balloons, the baskets of which were filled with candy.
This year, Julie Coldiron, receptionist coordinator at the Center at Donaldson, won the Saint Katharina Kasper Award. Julie is also celebrating 10 years of service at the Center at Donaldson this year.
Julie oversees the Center at Donaldson’s welcome desk throughout the week while providing the Safety and Security Services team with support. She sorts mail, transfers calls, and greets everyone she encounters with a smile and a cheerful hello. Julie says that she knew that she was meant to work at TCAD from the very moment she first set foot in the Motherhouse. Julie is a shining example of the mission and charism of Saint Katharina Kasper in action. Congratulations, Julie! Thank you for all that you do!
