R. Joseph (Joe) Belisle passed away in November 2010, in Wyoming, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, also an Associate. Joe was 86 years old. He is survived by his two children, Jim and Judy, and his sister-in-law, Sister M. Conrad Kirchhoff.

Joe was a charter member of the Associate Community and celebrated his 25th anniversary in 2008. He was active in the summer program at the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Ministry Center several years ago. He helped organize the programs and activities for the senior citizens for the summer sessions. He and Mary were also active participants in the annual Bazaar.
