Hattie Malec passed away in February 2010 in Collinsville, Illinois. She is survived by a daughter, sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Hattie had been an Associate for 27 years. She was in the initial group of Associates in 1983, and was helpful in getting the young community started. She had been an active parishioner at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville.
