June 25, 1940 - March 26, 2008

Sister Helen Wojciechowicz, PHJC passed away on March 26, 2008 at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, Indiana. She was born to Phil and Mary Agnes Wojciechowicz on June 25, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. She entered the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ community and professed her first vows on July 16, 1961.

Sister Helen ministered as a nurse at various PHJC Hospitals in Illinois and Indiana which included: St. Anne, Chicago; St. Catherine, East Chicago; St. Joseph, Mishawaka; St. Mary Mercy, Gary; and St. Joseph, Fort Wayne. She also ministered at Angel Guardian Orphanage, Chicago. She then provided Community service until she retired to the Catherine Kasper Home in 1988.
