On May 17, East One Associate Rosalyn (Rosie) Koenemann passed away at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Rosie was 75 years old. She is survived by two children, including daughter Carol Elser, who is also an East One Associate. Rosie is survived by two grandchildren and her life partner.

Born in Fort Wayne, Rosie lived in nearby New Haven. She became an Associate in 1992, and was recognized in 2007 for her fifteenth year in the Associate Community. Praying for all members of the Spiritual Family of Catherine, for peace, and for vocations were important parts of Rosie’s daily prayer life.

Rosie was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Haven, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Rosary Sodality. She was a C.N.A., and had currently been working at Harborside Healthcare.

Rosie’s Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on May 22, and interment was in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, in New Haven.
