February 18, 1914 - January 10, 2007

Sister Frances Herumin, PHJC passed away on January 10, 2007 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, Indiana. She was born to Roch and Josephine Herumin on February 18, 1914 in Ashland, Wisconsin.

She entered the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ community on June 25, 1934. For 50 years Sr. Frances taught school in Indiana and Illinois. She then volunteered at a day care and at St. Catherine’s Hospital in East Chicago before retiring to the Catherine Kasper Home in 1993.
