Sojourner Truth House is a faith-based ministry for women and their children in the Gary, Indiana area. The ministry provides assistance with basic necessities for daily living, life skills training and resource referrals. Sojourner Truth House also provides a clothes closet and food pantry for the clients they serve.

The faces of homelessness, drug dependency, mental illness and the economically disadvantaged are daily realities at Sojourner Truth House.

With a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, Sojourner Truth House is an advocate for systemic change and works to create community awareness of the underserved. The ministry partners with other agencies to inspire women to move toward wholeness, stability and access to an improved quality of life.
